BOARD MEMBER Arrangement to be performed at MIDWEST !!!!

The Chicago Symphony clarinetist John Bruce Yeh will be premiering a transcription for clarinet of the Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso for violin and orchestra at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic on Wednesday, December 18th at 8:30AM, with the Glenbrook Symphony - Carl Meyer, conductor. This transcription was done by board member for YEA! Mr. Michael Drapkin.

The transcription is also being published by Roncorp Publications, and will be available at the show through their distributor, Northeastern Music Publications. The publication is being released at the show on that date.

Clarinetist William Helmers of the Milwaukee Symphony will be reviewing this new work, and will be writing an article for "The Clarinet." Inquiries about this work have been received from the principal clarinetists of the Colorado and New Jersey Symphonies.
